Sky Effects are effects applied during Sky Combat that modify some combat rules or stats.

Debuff Effects Edit

The main debuff effects are:

  • Slow: Temporarily sets speed to 0
  • Paralyze: Temporarily reduces the damage output (% depends on the source, default is 30%)
  • Weaken: Temporarily increases damage suffered (% depends on the source, default is 30%)
  • Seal: Temporarily unable to use Combo Skills
  • Burn (Sky Effect): Temporarily suffers damage proportional to Total Energy of the enemy at start of each round (% depends on the source, default is 12%)
  • Poison (Sky Effect): Temporarily suffers damage proportional to Total Energy of the enemy at start of each round (% depends on the source, default is 20%)

Notes:

  • There might be exceptions but so far, it seems that only one such effect can be applied at a time. Whenever one of the above effects is placed, any other (or identical) such effect is removed (to be confirmed for Slow, evidence is pretty conclusive for the others)
  • Those effects almost always last 1 round (unless replaced by another effect). Exactly what '1 round' means can however be unclear for effects like Paralyze or Weaken that can be applied in the middle of a round and impact different phases of combat. It seems that those effects will apply starting from the phase immediately after the one in which they were applied up to but excluding that same phase in the next round. A lot of details remain to be determined about the timing.
  • See also the individual pages of the effects (when they exist) and Sky Combat.

Buff Effects Edit

There doesn't seem to be any buff effects akin to the debuff effects listed above.

Stat Debuffs Edit

Various skills, cannons, runestones and other things can also temporarily or permanently decrease stats.

The stats affected can be Fire, Armor, Speed, Luck and may be also main cannon damage or some unknown or hidden stats.

Notes:

  • These stat debuffs are apparently not really considered "effects" by the game and follow their own logic.
  • Permanent stat debuffs are cumulative and do not interfere with other debuff effects.
  • Temporary stat debuffs are probably cumulative as well but it remains to be seen if this is always the case or not
  • The exact timing of temporary stat debuffs applied in the middle of a round is not well known.

Stat Buffs Edit

Various skills, cannons, runestones and other things can also temporarily or permanently decrease stats.

The stats affected can be Fire, Armor, Speed, Luck, maximum energy, main cannon damage and possibly some unknown or hidden stats.

Notes:

  • Permanent stat buffs are cumulative.
  • Temporary stat buffs are probably cumulative as well but it remains to be seen if this is always the case or not
  • The exact timing of temporary stat buffs applied in the middle of a round is not well known.
